Father’s Day Special: A sleek, sophisticated gift from Invicta that doesn’t imply your dad is old, boring, or stupid. This deal of the day is $69 (81% off the $355 retail price). Sale ends at midnight tonight (EST).

Daily Deal 92Hair dye.

Hair dye?

Are you kidding me? It’s Father’s Day, a day where your wife and kids are supposed to shower you with love and appreciation for all of the fun, relaxation, and dreams you sacrificed to raise them as good, respectable people, and they give me hair dye?

I know I’m getting old. I’m not denying that. I’m just saying on this one day where dads get to be number one, I’d rather not think about my youth that expired long before I started college savings accounts for these little brats (and not get one of those “Number 1 Dad” shirts, either. I already have five. Message received).

Seriously, I’d rather have a tie, or what I really wanted, an Invicta Speedway watch. I love those watches. Classy, sleek, regal, solid construction. And best yet, I saw the watch on sale at an 81% discount on JomaDeals. They could have bought it for me then, saved a ton of money, and had it here by Father’s Day. But no. They decided to do their shopping at Walgreens. I’m surprised they didn’t pick up a cane and a bottle of Metamucil while they were at it.

I’ll be right back, everyone. I’m going away for a few minutes to have a midlife crisis.

ABOUT BRAND

Latin for "Invincible", Invicta was founded in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland by Raphael Picard. Picard had the radical notion that fine Swiss timepieces could be offered at modest prices. In 1837 Invicta began handcrafting its first watches and for well over a century this diligent company created manual and automatic winding pieces of exceptional design and construction.

In 1991, the descendents of the Invicta family re-established the brand holding firm to Picard's founding principle of affordable luxury. They recognized that Invicta could provide the watch buying public with unprecedented access to the fine Swiss quality at prices well within their reach.

Still privately owned and operated, Invicta has powered forward with Picard's maverick spirit, and the once small company has grown into a dynamic force worshipped by collectors and feared by the watch-making industry. In the history of Invicta watch, one thing has remained constant: Invicta watches are known for their quality and beautiful design. This is as true today as it was a century ago.
