Daily Deal 8100-STR-05207 A lot of times on these listings I make fun of watches. They usually have unique personality traits that I enjoy exploiting for the sake of making boring watch listings that people dont usually read a bit more palatable. But not this watch. This one has a personality that I have to bow down to. Its simply a solid, quality, more than your moneys worth, proud to have it grace your wrist, type of watch. Itll be the one watch in your repertoire that you can always rely on to deliver, like your best fantasy quarterback, your trusty leatherman, your favorite airline (if you say anything besides JetBlue or Southwest youre fooling yourself), or that one guy at subway with the moustache that always gives you extra meatballs on your sub (I think he might actually be flirting with me, but whether he is or not I dont care, its worth it, Im a sandwich-whore).

Now that I think about it, this watch does remind me of something. Maybe its because were in the middle of college and professional football right now, or the fact that both of my fantasy teams won this past week (5-2 and 4-2-1, not a bad startnot a great start, but not bad either, and yes I got a tie one week, it sucks, but it does happen sometimes). But for whatever reason, this watch reminds me of football (not real football, but the sport Americans like to call football that has nothing really to do with feet and should actually be called American Rugby instead, but Ill leave that off the soapbox for another day. Oh, and notice how I didnt say it reminds me of baseball, even though were in the middle of the world series? Thats because I dont watch baseball. Its boring. Sorry New York and Philly. Id rather read about what happened in the paper than waste four to seven days of my life watching it). I mean, its not much of a stretch. This is a sports watch after all. But its not your little league sports watch. This is your professional, championship, multimillion-dollar contract sports watch that will hit hard and keep on goingat least until it turns 40, then it will probably retire or coach or become a commentator or do commercials for Sears or something. But until then, this watch will be the king of all sports watches. You wont be disappointed. And if for some reason this pick of yours turns out to be a Ryan Leaf, the JomaDeals 2-year warranty will fix it so it starts acting like a winner again (bet the colts are glad they took Manning that year instead). does not ship outside the USA and its territories. Shoppers from outside the USA may place orders for delivery within the United States. Product ships 3-7 business days after order.

SubBrand1 Swiss Made

In 1976, M. Raymond Weil, who had previously been a watch designer for another company, founded the watch house that bears his name in Geneva, Switzerland.

The 1970s, when quartz watches shook the foundations of the mechanical watches market, is remembered as a hard time by all watch companies. It was a common belief by some consumers that there was no need for them anymore; after all, quartz watches were more accurate, did not need winding, and were infinitely cheaper to produce. These were hard times enough that it is a surprise to some that the industry survived as well as it did – it is even more surprising to learn that for Raymond Weil, these dark days were the hour of its birth.

As one of the newer Swiss watch houses, Raymond Weil has built up a prestigious reputation in a short period of time. Quality speaks for itself, and Raymond Weil’s watches were so fine, word quickly spread. The number of dealerships then increased with the founder becoming highly sought after and much in demand.

Raymond Weil produced watches characterized by elegance and simplicity. His watches bring together a subtle blend of trend and tradition. Their exquisite line, beautiful materials and meticulous finishing appeal to people of all tastes. Both chic and practical, Raymond Weil watches are suitable for all occasions. Drawing on Swiss watch making expertise, Raymond Weil focuses on creativity and quality in order to offer its clients an impressive diversity of models to match each individual and unique personality. Attention to detail is never compromised with Raymond Weil.

It is one of the last independent brands in the luxury Swiss watch industry.
