DETAILS
A classic, feminine silver-toned diamond watch. This
deal of the day is $1049 (81% off the $5610 retail price). Sale ends at
midnight tonight (EST).
A woman is
only as good as her watch. I think I heard that somewhere. Not sure who
said it or when, but I’m sure I heard it from someone famous or well
known. Okay, I probably just made it up, but it’s true to some degree,
right? I mean, if a woman is wearing a watch that’s classy, sleek, and
intelligent, chances are she is classy, sleek, and intelligent. If
she’s wearing a watch that’s tough, loud, and in your face, chances are
she’s tough, loud, and in your face, too. So what does today’s Deal of
the Day watch say about you? This is a classic look from Ebel; a
silver-toned, bracelet design. So that’s what it says about you:
classy, valuable, feminine, and one of a kind…and a woman, I’m assuming
(you could be a man that likes women’s watches, too, like Ed Wood, I’m
not discriminating).
It’s silver, it’s covered with diamonds, it’s elegant. It
reminds me of one of those old silver-themed Masquerade balls. You
know, the kind you see during the early part of a period romantic
movie, where the wealthy, well-bred but unhappy heroine happens across
the dashing but poor man-servant, they fall in love, he runs away
without giving his name, and since he was wearing a mask she doesn’t
know his true identity, and the movie has official begun it’s long,
twisty, heartstring-pulling, class-system-vs-true-love movie plot. That
formula never gets old.
One of the things I like
most about this Daily Deal watch is the slim bracelet style band. It’s thin
and sleek, the antithesis to all fat strap, rocker/emo watches out
there. And, given the aforementioned diamond detailing, It’s a near perfect hybrid of jewelry and timepiece. And with
the JomaDeals 2-year warranty, if anything should go wrong with the
watch, we’ll repair it to make it all better (meaning manufacturing
defects, not “I dropped my watch down the toilet after running it
through the garbage disposal”
defects).
Jomadeals.com does not ship outside the USA and its

ABOUT BRAND
The Ebel watch company was founded in 1911 by Eugene Blum and his wife, Alice Levy. The following year, they debuted the first Ebel wristwatch. In 1914, Ebel received a gold medal of distinction at the Swiss National Exhibition of watches. Eleven years later, the company was awarded Grand Prize at the Exhibition of Decorative Arts in Paris. In its formative years, Ebel remained a small family business with Alice running the day to day operations and her husband handling sales and marketing. In 1929, their son joined the company and took an active role in the development of the company’s reputation for quality and precision. This culminated in the company being the first Swiss watchmaker to introduce the “Western Electric” standards in 1935. By the end of that decade, Ebel was the official supplier of timepieces to the British army.
Ebel watches are constructed with delicate, soft curves fusing together the watch face and bracelet. This distinguished design makes the watch free of sharp edges, and gives the owner a timekeeping device that is both comfortable and beautiful on the wrist. It is for these reasons that the Ebel watchmakers are known as “The Architects of Time”, and their current watch collections continue to revolutionize the industry.
The Ebel watch collection features models designed for both men and women. There are six designs included in Ebel’s men’s watch collection and six designs featured in Ebel’s women’s watch collection. Four of these designs feature variations for both men and women. For example, the Ebel Classic watch comes in designs specifically for men and those that are specifically for women. However, the Ebel Classic watches (for men and women) share some common characteristics. Both are based on the idea of the Sport Classic model, a 1977 model that is among the most iconic of the Ebel watches. The men’s and women’s models are both very slender, sleek, and elegant. The Brasilia models (for both men and women) are extremely contemporary and features a rectangular face. Men and women alike also have the option to choose the Sportwave Ebel watch, which is derived from the Ebel Wave watch. It is set in a new and updated case, but still retains the basic design and feel of the original Wave watch. An Ebel watch designed specifically for women is the Beluga, which features a curved bracelet and is set with a variety of jewels. The Beluga Tonneau, also designed for women, is similar to the Tonneau and is just as luxurious. The final Ebel watch model designed specifically for women is the 1911, which is based on the Ebel Caliber 137. It is designed to be a merger of comfort and style, while still maintaining that somewhat “sporty” look. Men are offered three separate versions of the 1911 model, including the 1911 Discovery, the 1911 BTR, and the original 1911.
