I’ve literally never looked at a Fossil watch and thought to myself, “Man, that’s a boring watch. The most striking feature is the brushed and polished Brown anodized stainless steel case and bracelet, a unique color to the watch world that for sure will fit in with your hipster fedora and leather bracelets (or your suit with that paisley tie you wear for more formal, work-related events; working in an office is tough sometimes, but it was either this or my friend Jake’s tattoo parlor, and needles scare me). ABOUT BRAND
Fossil was founded in 1984 as Overseas Products International. Their main product was fashion watches with a retro look.
In its earlier days, Fossil watches were known for their mid 50's American era designs and affordability for its customers. Fossil was the first American watch brand to bring value and style to watches, allowing watches to become a must-have item for the wrist. As pop culture changes from year to year, Fossil established a presence in minds of wristwatch users by producing collectibles, some of which are based on popular films or pop culture characters.
