discount price. This deal of the day is $479 (70% off the $1,595 retail
price). Sale ends at midnight tonight
(EST).
I think it would be wrong if we
went on doing these listings without giving a shoutout to the 20th
anniversary of the coming down of the Berlin Wall. We’re all in
agreement. That wall sucked. Glad it’s down. And except for the U2
concert where they commemorated the event by putting up a huge wall to
keep people out of the show (it’s true, look it up, listed under
“irony”), celebrations of this anniversary have gone down without a
hitch. I remember where I was when the wall came down. I had just
finished watching Say Anything and was listening to Duran Duran on my
Walkman while enjoying some Big League Chew when Arsenio Hall was
interrupted by the breaking news. I threw my Trapper Keeper in the air
out of joy and roller-bladed all the way home to tell my
family.
So how can you personally
celebrate the falling of the Berlin wall? By supporting unbridled
American Consumerism and buying today’s Deal of the Day!
The Movado
Sapphire Stainless Steel Men’s Watch is all about Design. Until they
came along, watches were adding more bells and whistles than a clown
car ice cream truck at a bells and whistles factory. Then Movado came
along, striped away the superfluous, packed in quality and attention to
detail, and packaged it in this simplistic and modern design concept.
It’s smooth, like a clean shaven Tom Selleck, or a newborn baby, or a
post Christmas Santa (you think he wears that beard all year? He shaves
it Dec 26 and spends the rest of the year growing it back just for
fun…he looks just like the Santa Clause Pez dispensers after you break
the beard part off). And if the unthinkable happens and this watch
actually doesn’t go 110% for you (mathematical impossibility aside),
then the JomaDeals 2-year warranty will fix it for free so that it gets
back to working like it should. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to
look for more pics of celebrities without beards…

ABOUT BRAND
The art of Movado is the art of design. Since its founding in 1881 by 19-year old entrepreneur Achille Ditesheim in the village of La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, Movado has achieved a legacy of design innovation, earning more than 100 patents and 200 international awards for artistry and innovation in watch design and time technology.
Movado, meaning "always in motion," is the hallmark of some of the most famous timepieces ever created. Defined by a single dot at 12 representing the sun at high noon, the Museum Watch dial is regarded as an icon of Modernism. It was designed by Bauhaus-influenced artist Nathan George Horwitt in 1947. When Horwitt’s dial was selected for the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art, New York, in 1960, it was the first watch dial ever awarded this distinction. The name "Museum Watch" derives from this recognition.
Excellence in design. A dedication to Swiss craftsmanship. The quest for technological innovation. The Movado philosophy remains as valid as it was in 1881. Swiss made and water resistant, all Movado watches are distinguished by a legacy of design innovation and dedication to the future of time. Discover the complete collection today.
