The movement used in the Railmaster 49.2mm offers up its own superlatives: At 16.5 lines (37.2 mm) in diameter, the manual-winding pocket watch calibre 2201 is the largest movement in the current OMEGA collection. The Railmaster 49.2mm is also the first wristwatch for a number of years to be fitted with a pocket watch movement. Like the official railway pocket watches from which the Railmaster is derived, the calibre 2201 is geared towards optimum precision, with a 60-hour power reserve and official certification from the independent Swiss chronometer testing institute (COSC). |
